Walls

White walls chain me to my memories of an unforgiving past.
White walls are my nagging reminder of dirty shame
White walls suffocate me with tainted purity
Time never looks kindly upon a white wall
Youth never looks kindly upon time
Childhood is a luxury
Feelings are a curse
Escape is impossible
So long as I am trapped here in my tormented white walls.

The Story of Evil (found poetry)

Crucial to find the way is this; there is no beginning or end
There is only the evolution of knowledge though endurance
Once we knew everything in this lush promise
But certainty was torn from our soul by the hands of the wicked
Flowers of rage spring up in the depression
We wade in pools of sadness until we succumb to the temptation
Power is seductive and sparkles
Hunger for submission is contagious
The bad habit of struggle when there need be no fight
Feeds the beast of my ego
Fresh courage glimmers from plants and lights the map printed with the blood of history
I explore, conquer, ravage, and dominate the untouched land
I travel by instinct through the groaning of monsters towards the crack of light along your body’s horizon
I destroy the strength of another as a sacrifice to appease the sadistic God who took mine
There is no culture rooted here, from the heart or need to sing
The agony of overdue epiphany slithers under my skin and strikes the core of my being
True power does not amass from the pain and suffering of others
The dark parasite upon my eternal conscience is burned in the fire of new beginning
Destiny can be shifted by evil but only for a little while
The newly enlightened sinks to her knees
lost in beautiful remorse

Dictionary of a Soul

To define the soul
To define God
To define love
How I wish to define the soul
How I wish to bring peace to this plagued mind
I crave to define words with words until I have run out of language
I yearn to engrave my soul in stone and hang it on a wall
If only I could define the soul
But the soul
But God
But love
No words will ever be found to illustrate the soul in its entirety
Because the soul can only be found in a place where words hold no value
The soul is what unifies us by never being the alike in any of us
The soul
God
Love
The soul

Give my Heart to the Dead III

Beg the dead for forgiveness
Fall to your knees and cling to his waist
Let your story of love and loss
Trickle from your eyes
And soak into his hip
Promise the dead that you will never stray again
Tell the dead your story
That you have felt the flesh turn to dust in your arms
And that you have felt the sting of tragedy
Assure the dead that you now understand
The dead never leave
Because they were never there to begin with
To fear no loss
You must give your heart to no one but the dead

Give my Heart to the Dead II

Never allow yourself to strip of all clothing
And stare longingly at a skeleton
Never let all of yourself be known
To the bones of what was
Time passes
Illusions decay
The empty air where the flesh should be
Will leave you with a yearning you will not be able to explain
A yearning that you will never be able to ignore
Never fall in love with the dead

Give my Heart to the Dead I

Fall in love with the dead
Fool yourself into affection for the dearly departed
Fall madly
Completely
And truly in love with the dead
Laugh playfully with the skeleton sitting on your couch
Frolic in ecstasy with the corpse lying in your bed
Bare your soul to the one who has lost his long ago
Cherish those who are already gone
Fall in love with nothing
And you will lose just as much

Words for a Worried Love

Come rest you weary head upon my chest
Let us share our warmth with each other
Allow the smile to grow across your face when you feel the joy in your limbs
Hold me close to create such gentle energy
Help me compose a great symphony of silence
Become intoxicated by the proximity of our souls
Mold these two bodies into one swirling harvest of feeling
Permit your silly worries to seep into my skin and travel through my veins
Let them find their final resting place in my heart
Let them transform in to certainty
Fear not to close your eyes
For I assure you mine will never stray
Sleep in our sanctuary of each other
Put your faith in more than affection
Surrender yourself to us
And I shall do the same
